tranquil, tranquil, tranquil
I was mesmerized by the tranquil and very quiet location, surrounded by beautiful mountain views and nestled into a serene park. The room I stayed in had a lovely balcony view, perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. The hotel offered fantastic facilities including a fermentation factory and a rooftop terrace.

the breakfast price is a real outrage, I mean who pays 3680 JPY for eggs? and the train schedule is so absurdly inconvenient, I could’ve walked to my destination quicker! I woudl ve been pleased with even a complimentary water bottle. is that too much to ask? I almost wrote a glowing review, but couldn't let these things slide.

loved my stay at umekoji potel! the location is great, near a bus stop and perfect for visiting arashiyama. our twin room had a lovely view of the park. the drinks room and music room were amazing. the staff helped us ship our luggage, which made everything so much easier!
